In partnership with Disney, Google Home’s “Disney Read-Along” feature gives parents a little help with the never-ending task of getting kids to bed.

The real heroes of storytime are the parents that take time to read to their kids. To get some well known parents excited about the partnership, we depicted them as fairy tale characters, and further made them into night lights once they were designed. This way they had a special light to turn on when they sat down to read with their kids.

We started with sketches and illustrations, to 3D renders, to 3D printed 1:1 fabrications, and on to custom hand painting for our finish.
